Thank you so much for donating to our project! My students and I appreciate it more than you know! Thanks to your generosity, my class is able to explore and use their imagination. They are learning and having fun while doing it!

Half of my students are considered English Language Learners. This means that their primary language is something other than English. These books help engage them in our class and our lessons. Books provide common ground for my students. Despite their background knowledge and resources at home, once they enter our classroom, they have something they can all share and enjoy together.

I read to my students everyday! I try to read themed books aloud to them, but they also read in groups and independently. They love reading to each other. The more they practice, the more fluent they will become.
