  • Social and Emotional Support!

    Funded Aug 1, 2022

Thank you for all the SEL gadgets. I was unable to post pictures of the kids with them for privacy reasons, but they absolutely loved the pop it, slime and magna doodle boards.

When they needed a break they would draw different things on the magna doodle boards and this calmed them down tremendously.

The popits helped a few of my students stay focuses on me while not disrupting the whole class. The slime which was the absolute favorite was used as a reward for learning how to control their behaviors.

    We truly appreciate your supports!”

  • Center Fun!

    Funded Sep 4, 2022

Thank you for supporting my students. My girls really loved the abc center folders. These helped them learn their abc's. It is always fun to watch my students learn while they believe they are playing.

The big 10 frame floor mat was also a big hit! We used it to help us understand the value of a number. When we are playing and not testing the kids learn and enjoy the assignment. That is what all of these different center realia did.

My kids would go home and tell their parents they played all day! Thank you so much for bringing fun back into centers.”

  • Motivate Students To Exercise

    Funded Dec 31, 2022

Thank you for your generous donation! Once the first rewards were handed out to the first, second and third place classes all our students wanted to do running club.

The best part was they wanted to do more than the two laps they were asked to do in order to get a prize.

We are truly grateful that there are wonderful people who believe in supporting students academics and health. The adults were surprised by how many miles these kids ran as a school each week. They had so much fun once they got in the habit they did not need a prize.

    Thank you again,”

  • Projects Make Learning Fun!

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

The project that was the biggest hit so far was the canvas boards. My kids were so excited to do a painting with their big buddies. They all had such a good time painting a snowman together. We plan to order more canvases for a mothers day project with the big buddies. The big buddies help the kinders listen to direction and wait until they should do the next step. It is so fun to watch.

We also made letter necklaces out of the stars and we had a letter captain to teach the students the letter of the day. This worked really well.

    Thank you so much!”

  • Doodle Boards!

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

My students were beyond excited to get a few more doodle boards. We use them for practicing sight words during centers and for free draw. They love drawing different things on them and this helps the kids with their fine motor skills.

The doodle boards were given out as Christmas gifts to every student as they needed something at home to continue to practice writing. They were so excited when they realized they were getting to keep these and use them at home. Their homework has become more fun.

Thank you for supporting our class!”

  • 100 Glows

    Funded Nov 18, 2022

We used our 100 glow resources for a glow day party to celebrate the 100th day of school. My students were so excited when they received all these resources. They were not quite sure what it meant, but they knew it was going to be fun.

We used the secret pens to write 100 sight words as a class with our big buddies, we made fairy jars that glowed in the dark. I think the class favorite was trying to hit the balloon 100 times in the dark.

We use the pens and dice on special days to keep the excitement of learning alive.

    Thank you so much!”

  • Kinders Love Art!

    Funded Sep 1, 2022

When my kinders first started school their fine motor skills were non existence and their ability to create and use their imagination was not much better. With these supplies my kids now love rotating to their art station and using all the different supplies to create whatever their hearts choose.

Once they got started and realized there is no wrong way to do art they have had a blast. They painted friendship rocks and gave them to their big buddies, made cards for their moms and created puppets.

They were so excited to get to use these resources. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity!”

  • Mindful Math

    Funded Aug 16, 2022

My students are learning math and having a blast! When introducing addition, I brought out the big floor mat and had some girls stand in the ten frame. Then I asked the boys to fill the rest. We talked about how we had 10 students. I asked the kids how many were girls and how many were boys. This was such a great visual to make an addition sentence with. We did this several times. Then I laminated some ten frames with different counters on them and asked them how many did they have and how did they see it. This mental math was very successful in helping my students understand addition. The tpt gift cards were used to purchase some curriculum for our mental math centers.

Thank you for supporting our class!”

  • I Can Hear!

    Funded Oct 10, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting our head phones. The kids love how small they are. Since we have received these I have not heard any complaints about not being able to hear or this is too big for me.

We appreciate you and your generosity! These headsets have allowed for my students to do their mandated online learning without hearing everyone's program. This is so important because it causes such a distraction as well as confusion. If they are looking at the word "the" and hearing the word see they get confused.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

  • Readers are Leaders!

    Funded Aug 1, 2022

Thank you so much for the two bookshelves. My students love being able to easily access the books they want to read. I change the book display out monthly and they get so excited when they notice new books in the display.

I have read several of the Social and emotional books to help with teaching how to be a good friend. They think Don't Squeal unless it is a big deal is hilarious. Maybe because this years class love to tattle on each other. Tattle tongue helped many of my students understand when to tell the teacher a problem and when it was just tattling.”

This year we are moving to a more hands on approach to learning. We will be utilizing STEM activities. The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help my students in many areas. The legos, wikki stix and building blocks will help my students with their fine motor skills, creative thinking skills, critical thinking skills and social skills. The laminate will be used to create centers and will reduce paper waste. A few examples of the centers will be play doh mats. these mats can be used for creative thinking. The students will be given a mat, play-doh and pipe cleaners to show what they know about measurement. Students will also use the dice in their centers in multiple ways. They will have numbers, pictures, letters and sight words to play different games to meet their needs. The tubs will be used to store these new supplies and centers. Organization is the key to success in kindergarten. These supplies will benefit all students in my class as they will get depth of knowledge while playing! We thank you in advance for considering our needs! We truly appreciate and value each one of you for helping us have a successful year!
