My kindergarteners live in a rural community, where the entire elementary population receives FREE LUNCH. The students come from diverse backgrounds with a strong desire to learn and be challenged in new and exciting ways! They seize opportunities, and are excited by new perspectives and additions to our classroom. Classroom instruction includes highly engaging, hands-on activities to keep students focused and motivated. My students are in need of opportunities to build a strong educational foundation that will benefit them their entire lives. It's my hope to create a listening center within my Kindergarten class with a library of stories that are familiar and unfamiliar to my students. I want my students to increase their love for reading and strive to become better readers!
