Chromebooks for Second Graders

Good news! We have funded our project and should soon have two new chrome books for use in our second classroom. The students will be able to complete many exciting projects using this technology and to help them advance in all subject areas.

This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 7 other donors.

Classrooms these days integrate technology with lessons almost all the time. However, if there is not enough technology to go around in a school, students are not able to fully use this technology to enhance their learning. There are so many programs that students can use to help them dig deeper into topics of interest, to help them improve reading and writing and math skills, and to challenge their thinking on a broader scale. These Chromebooks will be used for these and many others projects through the school year. Using these Chromebooks will help them prepare for their future success. These requested Chromebooks will be used for remediation and for classroom research and projects.
