My students will learn how to express themselves positively, deal with life situations, and apply problem solving skills by using puppets. The puppets will be used to demonstrate different types of emotions and teach positive behavior. Students will reinforce the skill that was taught by using puppets to act out different types of social situations. Students will learn through observation and interaction about appropriate behavior and by using the puppets, they can see a representation of abstract concepts, such as empathy or kindness. Puppets will provide my students with an opportunity to visualize their emotions and practice social skills in a safe, non-judgmental manner. The puppet tree will give our puppets a home.
