Thank you so much for gifting us more fidgets and items for our Zen Den/Safe Place. The children really do have an abundance of energy and emotions this year and your donation has helped them regulate in safe ways. I appreciate you so much. I think the weighted sloth is especially helpful in calming the students, they simply love it! They also love the playdough and sand tray. Your love and generosity help all my students reach their full potential. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting our classroom goals!”

I cannot emphasize enough how helpful the snacks are for my Pre-K students. A little snack, a lot of love, and the knowledge that food is always available is essential to Pre-K. You would be amazed how a little snack cheers up my children when they are having a tough time. I appreciate having immediate and all day access in a little area of my room. When children do NOT enjoy our school food, I know I can still make sure they have full bellies. When a child leaves for the weekend and wants to take home some snacks, my heart is full knowing I can provide them. Thank you for loving and feeding my sweethearts. Your generosity doesn't go unnoticed!”
Thank you so much for the Barney Saltzberg literature! These books are so fabulous in helping my students build critical thinking and perspective taking skills. Their favorite so far is the book Crazy Hair Day, in which a student wears crazy hair on picture day! It is such a wonderful story that my students beg me to read again and again. I was fortunate enough to meet THE Barney Saltzberg in person in Santa Fe, New Mexico just a couple of weeks ago. Thank you again for helping my students build a lifelong love of learning. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!”
Thank you for helping students explore more math materials in fun and engaging ways. They love all the new math center items and I definitely also hear more mathematical language being used among my students. This gift to our classroom is so important because math is an area of struggle for all students across our nation. I am hopeful that with math themed literature, real world math problems, and a classroom full of math manipulatives and modeled use, I am raising a generation of children with strong mathematical minds! Thank you for your love and care!”
Thank you so much for the loving gift of food and gloves for my students. I love seeing our families having access to food on our school campus, as everyone deserves nutritious foods. The students and families had extra comfort during winter break, thanks to you! This year our winter break was even longer than usual, so these items were so very important. I am so very thankful and you make a difference in the lives of amazing children. The citizen philanthropists of DonorsChoose.org make the world a better place.”

Thank you so much for replenishing our classroom "Snack Shack." Feeding my loving students is so important to me. Food is a basic necessity and every one of my students knows they'll never go hungry when in my care (all thanks to YOU)! Thank you for providing the necessities for being ready to learn. I love my students and it means the world to me that their needs are met. I already have gone through the food and am looking forward to replenishing my snack shack again soon. Behaviors subside, children's brains work better, and everyone is happier and healthier overall thanks to your generosity. Thank you!!!!”

I have really enjoyed watching my students use their imaginations in our Magnatile Center! We have a lovely light table and students work together to make towers, jungles, rocket ships, happy meals, and cities galore! They love combining the two dimensional shapes to create three dimensional worlds! Play is a child's work and the generous citizen philanthropists of DonorsChoose.org have made our classroom one of the finest places to play on planet earth! Thank you again for supporting our play and making dreams come true!”

Thank you for providing beautiful gifts to my students for over winter break! Thanks to you, I was able to spoil them with fun and engaging items to have over a longer break this winter. Students were sent home with items to use and play with. I really couldn't have provided such a gift without the generous supportive citizen philanthropists on DonorsChoose.org! Thank you for making our dreams come true! Here are some photos of us having fun the day before winter break! We watched Sendak's Nutcracker and it had us all twirling on our toes!”

Thank you for continuing to purchase much needed food for the families I love. Our community relies heavily on this resource, as local convenience and grocery stores have closed. This is unbearably difficult and food is essential. When you purchase non perishables and convenience foods such as granola bars, chips, nuts, and tuna kits, you're making sure a child will get a meal over the weekend! I love seeing families comforted and cared for in this way and could not provide this without your love and support! Thank you so much!”

I cannot even tell you how miraculous this has been for my class. Having an obvious, visual, "always open" snack shack for my students has been a comfort to them. They now can get snacks and water freely without assistance and food insecurity issues no longer impact behaviors. My students feel the love with every bag of crackers or chips! Thank you so much for helping our class by meeting basic essential needs! My students are so lucky to have your love and support. Everyone deserves to eat, everyone NEEDS to eat, and you have made it possible to support this need. I love and appreciate your support!”
Science is the spice of life and we need to keep it alive in early childhood education! I teach Kindergarten in Albuquerque and have a diverse group of curious five and six year olds! I believe wholeheartedly in a child-centered environment packed with hands-on and interest based learning. I've always said that if you do what you love, you'll never have to work a day of your life. Thank you citizen philanthropists for helping my students get the quality education they deserve!
