Wiggle Seats With a Boost!
Funded Jan 18, 2024Thank you again for your donation this past winter. The children are loving the wobble seats. Every day they are asking, "Can we use the wobble seats?" The movement these seats have provided have done wonders helping children stay productive during class time.
One of the greatest advantages with this produce is that the seat heights are adjusted. I have made them all different heights because - one size does not fit all! These are probably one of the best flexible seating options I have seen. There is a good chance I will be creating a new donor's chose to add a couple more.
Thank you again!”

Second Graders With Super Supplies Succeed!
Funded May 10, 2023Thank you for helping bring this project to life. Your generous donation has helped supply young children with colored pencils, dry erase markers, and erasers. Each child has their own pencil pouch to store their treasured supplies. The large plastic envelopes are helping the children keep track of materials and important information as they travel back and forth from home to school.
By providing students with the necessary supplies and organizational tools that they need to be successful, my students have started the school year out strong and confident!
We are going to have a great year!”

Funded May 4, 2023Thank you so much for generously donating to my class project. Many second graders need to wiggle and move to be engaged with learning. The flexible seating, which they now have thanks to your donation, allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.
Whether working at their desk or choosing to work around the room each child must have the right tools for success. Some children prefer to work at their desk, but still need to move. Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet will help with this. Some children prefer a special place away from their desk. For example, sitting at a different table or on the rug, sitting in scoop seats, or even finding a cozy spot to squeeze into with a clip board. One favorite is the surf desks. I only have a couple so a few more in the rotation will give more children the seating they wish for.
My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are empowered to choose between a scoop seat, a surf desk, have Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet, as well as other flexible seating options.
Having the ability to provide children with the tools to help them succeed daily brings peace of mind to me and, most importantly, brings the children the outlet needed to shine.”

Funded May 4, 2022This project has had quite the impact on my students. Our CKLA Knowledge Domains cover so many topics. Life Cycles, Insects, Westward Expansion, and the Human Body just to name a few.
The models for Life Cycles and Insects help the children understand the different cycles of plants and animals. While the models of insects helps the children identify the parts of an insect and be able to compare and contrast.
The large map of the United States and the smaller maps help the children visualize Westward expansion and how our country grew from a few colonies to the country it is today.
The models of the human body just took their learning to a whole new level. The children now know what an actual heart looks like and how the whole body works together to keep us healthy.
These materials helped last years class so much and will certainly benefit the children in my future classes.”

Funded Aug 13, 2021Thank you again for your generous donation to our class project Help My Second Graders Grow With Technology. The extra table has made our classroom able to add a technology component to much of our day. One of our morning explorations has the children using tablets to work on the Prodigy app or to research topics that interest them through the search engine kiddle.co.
Kiddle.co make certain that any topics "kiddled" will only show child-friendly material. This gives students the opportunity to peruse their own interests and be able to understand the information on the site they find because it is geared towards children.
One favorite activity is when they go into the Prodigy app. It really challenges their mathematical understanding yet in a very engaging way. All students have individual usernames and passwords. They move through Prodigy at their own pace. The game adjusts questions based on each individual child's ability.
Thank you for making a difference for our children.”

Funded Jul 2, 2020With so much remote learning and social distancing this year we have been unable to break in our comfy carpet. I am really looking forward to next year when, hopefully, children will be able to have a seat on their comfy carpet, choose their special color square, and enjoy a read aloud story or a small group math lesson. There are so many ways this Colorful Carpet will brighten our classroom and energize our learning.
Thank you so much for your generous donation. Although the carpet was not utilized this year, it will be enjoyed by many students for many years to come.”
