Programming the Future
Funded Nov 24, 2017Students are over the moon!
They are so excited to work with the Robots and thrilled that you are supporting their learning. So far we have been exploring what is a Robot and how can they help us solve problems and learning about our world and beyond. They are fascinated by the idea that Robots can be programmed to explore places beyond our reach like the depths of the ocean and outer space. We have made a class NASA Challenge and have been using our Robots to practice for a pretend survival mission on Mars.
Thank you for supporting our students and their learning!
They deserve the very best tools and experiences to help them develop questions and ideas that will make our world a better place.
They were thrilled that you cared enough about them to help provide these exciting and innovative tools.
We are truly thankful for your support.”

Robotics Adventure: Progamming The Future
Funded Mar 29, 2017I wish you could have heard the "ooowwws" and "ahhhhs" as the packages were opened.
The students planned this project from the beginning and it was so exciting to see their hard work pay off. They became interested in connection between humans and robotic technology that could continue to make a difference in their world and they wanted a chance to have hands-on experiences. The students have jumped right into design and programming and the level of questions and discussion have been amazing. The ownership in their learning has been completely transformed and their natural curiosity is off the charts. They are asking to come in early and leave as late as possible...it has been amazing!
I cannot thank you enough for believing in our students and helping create experiences that will help them find their calling and make a difference. One student told me, "I am going to build a robot that will eliminate pollution and litter...I really will," and I believe her with all my heart!
Thank you for your vision and generosity!”

Funded Jul 10, 2016I cannot begin to thank you for your generosity! You have provided students with unique tools and opportunities that they would never have a chance to experience.
By working with the 3D printer and software, students will have a chance to try out amazingly innovative tools and become engaged in problem-solving and collaboration. I cannot wait to see what projects they will create and ideas they will begin to develop.
We are so very lucky to have people out there that support students and learning and understand how access to tools like this could just possibly be the catalyst that changes their lives forever.
Thank you so very much!
Check out our websites...we should have 3D printer pictures up soon!

Funded Mar 9, 2016Thank you for your support of our Collaboratory learning space!
WHAT is a Collaboratory?
It is a special place designed to support Collaboration, Creativity, and Problem-solving. It is a place where students can come and learn and create. We explore a variety of topics in science, technology, and the arts, but the main thing is that students will have a chance to follow their own interests and discover.
There are daily challenges for students to choose from, such as: building model cars, working with robots, creating straw towers, sewing 3-D models, engineering problems and more.
The students were BEYOND thrilled when they learned that you had reached out and provided support for their learning space. When we opened the boxes and unpacked the items there were squeals and gasps of delight. Even weeks later, they continually talk about their "real" engineering tools that they were given to support their work.
Because of you and your kindness, our students have been able to access tools that have pushed their learning and engagement even more. I cannot thank you enough!
I hope that you will continue to visit the Donor's Choose site and tell others about it as well...together we can continue to make a difference for our children.
Thank you!”
