Our school has recently adopted a new blended math curriculum where students spend half of the math block in a small group with me and the other half on the Chromebooks reinforcing their learning on a digital math program. At the moment, we do not have headphones so the classroom is a loud and distracting place to learn. My group and I can hear 16 computerized math lessons in the background. The computer group has difficulty focusing on their own lesson while listening to other computers and my group. Having headphones for the computer group would help the whole class stay focused during the entire math block which would lead to higher learning outcomes.
