  • Hands-on Math Fun!

    Funded Jan 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. It means the world to the children and to me. We have been using our new math materials to work on building our fluency skills with our math facts. The children participate in these centers 3-4 days a week and the materials provided through your donations have allowed us to run more than one center at a time.

The children were so excited when they saw the materials. They immediately began using the spinners, counters, and clocks to help with their math learning. You have helped deepen their love for learning with your donations and I truly appreciate it.

    Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cozier

  • Wobbling Away!

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you so much for your very generous donations to our classroom. My students absolutely love their wobble stools.

When they first arrived in our classroom, some of the students were a little unsure about using them. They were concerned they would fall or not be comfortable enough to use all day long while working. Once they gave them a shot, they are now the first option to go when we switch our seating around. These seats allow the students to receive sensory input they need while they are learning. The way that they move allow the children to concentrate on their while moving every so slightly. They are a great addition to our classroom. Thank you again!”

  • Adventures in Reading!

    Funded Nov 23, 2021

Thank you so much for your extremely generous donations to our classroom library. The children were so excited when the books started to arrive in our classroom.

Reading is a social experience and as adults when we read a good book we want to talk about it with our friends and family. With the addition of these new books to our classroom library there were many new conversations happening. The students were so excited to discuss what they had read and to recommend a new book to a friend.

Thank you again, we appreciate your donation more than you know!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cozier

  • Blended Learning for Busy Students

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

Thank you so much for your very generous donation to my classroom. The past year has been very trying for us all and my students have shown strength and flexibility beyond their years. My students are either fully remote or hybrid and the constant fluctuations make it hard to keep up with the supplies that they need. Your generous donations made it possible for us to buy new books for independent reading time. The children are now able to bring books home to read so that they can continue their reading journeys.”

  • Wobbling Our Way to Academic Success!

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your very generous donations to my classroom. The wobble stools have helped give my students the sensory input that they require to learn the best way they know how.

The ability to be able to wiggle slightly while the work, allows my students to concentrate. Since they are able to concentrate, they can be the best students that they can be.

The new books that were donated have been helping us learn about and appreciate what makes us all special. These have been a great addition to our classroom.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!”

  • Flexible Seating Means Flexible Thinking!

    Funded Aug 6, 2019

The first day of school was a joyous one when my students entered the room and saw their new tables. They let out a collective yeah as they entered the room. The excitement on their faces just made my day.

The new tables that we received have enabled my students to be able to work collaboratively with their classmates without having to move the furniture around.

The students especially love the table that sits low to the floor, so that they can kneel and work.

I thank you from the bottom of heart for your generous donations!”

  • A New Reading Adventure!

    Funded Jul 23, 2019

Thank you so much for your very generous donations to our classroom. My students love a good book and many of our books were beginning to show their age and the pages were falling out. Due to your generous donations we were able to update our library with new interesting titles for them to read.

In our room we spread put and get comfortable as we read. This is usually a very exciting time of the day for my students and with the addition of our new books they are always asking when it's time to read.

I thank you again on behalf of my kids for your generosity.”

  • Our Cupboards Are Bare!

    Funded Apr 16, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. Our new supplies have enabled my students to get off to a running start this year. They were so very excited when they saw the chart paper, markers, erasers, and bulletin board paper. They have been using the chart paper and markers to create posters and group projects. They have been able to display their work using the the clip hangers. We always talk about how mistakes lead us to new learning and with our new erasers we've been able to show our new learning by correcting what was an error.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity!”

  • Flexible Seating Equals Flexible Thinking!

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

When the boxes arrived containing our new seats there was a collective cheer from the students in our class. They were so excited to see what new flexible seating option they would now have to choose from. They absolutely love the new floor seats and the floor cushions.

Our classroom is slowly transitioning to all different types of flexible seating options and your generous donations allowed our room to grow even further. We have found in our room that our students learn best when they are comfortable and able to move around as they work.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your extremely generous donations and allowing my students the opportunity to further their learning in a comfortable setting.”

  • Bouncing Our Way to Academic Success!

    Funded Oct 24, 2018

The day our new chairs arrived in our classroom there was a collective squeal from my students. They were beyond excited to receive their new seats. The new yoga ball seats that you helped fund allow my students the ability to move while they work. Their concentration has improved tremendously because they now receive the sensory input that they require to help them be the best students that they can be.

My students and I can't thank you enough for your generosity. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It means more than you will ever know!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cozier

My first graders are an amazing, inquisitive bunch of children who love to learn. Unfortunately the last few weeks have been very hard as the children have not only suffered extreme losses at home but our beloved school as well. We are currently sharing space in an already overcrowded school, which has lead to the need to place 40-50 children in a classroom. We've lost all of our supplies and our sense of security. We as a school community are trying our best to get back on our feet and return our children to a place where they don't have to worry about anything other than being a child.
