Just as each one of my students has a unique personality, they each have a unique learning style. Serving a diverse group of students can, at times, be challenging. Ensuring each one of their needs are met as well as engaging them throughout lessons and discoveries is a daily task. My students love hands on activities, and in an English Language Arts classroom this can be difficult to do. Therefore my students each have an interactive notebook! It is a fun way for them to organize their notes while having an activity to complete. These notebooks are colorful and are composed of foldables, worksheets and interactive activities right in their own notebook! It not only allows them to engage in the lesson, but it also assists in their organization and independent studying at home. In order to have these activities, my students need scissors, glue, colored pencils, colored paper, post its and markers. These materials allow them to personalize their notes, color coordinate to assist in studying and provides a new means to note taking,
