  • I Can Dream, Build, and Play

    My students have so enjoyed your lovely donation. The block center is full everyday! The students have learned to be creative by discussing and drawing before and after building. They have planned on making a bus which they could get inside in, as well as building towers, and even a playground! They have learned to explore their creative space and have figured out when they have built too large or too small. It has been wonderful seeing them grow in their understanding of patience as you build and try again when an idea is not working. As a teacher, I have just enjoyed seeing them work together hands on with all these materials even if we had not had an end product. The block area will continue to be popular with all these amazing materials.”

  • Peek-A-Boo, I See You!

    Our students so enjoy using the soft pillows during circle time, personal reading time, and even when they need them to get comfortable in the block area. The adaptive seats are being used during small group time and science time. Surprisingly, the students have begun to use them during their dramatic play in the doll house. The height is just perfect! I enjoy seeing them problem solve their needs, but above all realizing that they have autonomy in their classroom to make decisions for their own learning and for the materials available to them. Thank you for making this possible!”
