Let's Build and Create a Safe Community
Funded Dec 13, 2018Words can not express the gratitude I have for your support in funding my project! With the Build and Play puzzles, architecture sets, and blocks that you provided, my class is now able to create things such as animal habitats and neighborhoods at the building center over and over. The students love the building center and now their opportunities to create are unlimited!
I am able to provide materials for the students to build life-like replicas of the homes that existed long ago. My students have made amazing log cabins with the Log Builders Master Set. The hands-on experience will last a lifetime.
I was so excited to introduce the students to all the new building activities. Our school will be an "Urban Planning Magnet School" next fall and these building activities give them the opportunity to see their community visions come to life.

Brain Break Centers Need An Upgrade!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Words can not express the gratitude I have for your support in funding my project! With the rechargeable batteries that you provided, my class is now able to use the listening center over and over. The students love listening to stories at the center and now the opportunity is unlimited!
I am able to provide so many more options the students with the new Biscuit Read Aloud Books on CD and the students can Listen to them over and over again. The repetition of such activities is a very effective strategy when teaching new skills.
I was so excited to introduce the students to all the new building activities. Our school will be an "Urban Planning Magnet School" next fall and these building activities give them the opportunity to see their community visions come to life.

STEM Activities Look Better In Color!
Funded Nov 27, 2016Words can not express the gratitude I have for your support in funding my project! With the color ink that you provided, my class is now able to print projects, pictures and puzzles IN COLOR! The students love seeing their work come to life on the computer, but it is even better when they get to take it to a center and use it to engage their friends in the learning as well.
I am able to provide so many more resources to the students that I have laminated so they can use them over and over again. The repetition of such activities has been prove to be very effective when teaching new skills.
I am so excited to teach the children how to publish a classroom story. Each child will be able to add to the story so we can print it and add it to our classroom library. Not only will they be able to read the story, they will be able to see it in color.

Empowering Students Through Art and Play 2
Funded Mar 31, 2016I cannot begin to thank you for your generous donation to my project the materials brought a huge smile to every student in my class! The art materials, literacy centers, and classroom chairs have made my center time much more exciting!
The art materials and literacy centers will provide many opportunities and hands-on activities that will reinforce standards across the curriculum. The age appropriate design of the new classroom chairs will guarantee years of comfortable classroom seating!
The sight word activity chest and sentence center are a super-engaging way for kids to explore sight-words. The treasure chest has four drawers filled with activity mats, chips, foam letters and tiles...so children can match, find, build and write sight-words! The sentence center has sentence cards, word cards and pictures for the students to use to build and read sentences. The best part is it is all hands on!

The Instant Learning Centers provide step-by-step picture instructions and hands-on activities that will reinforce the common core literacy standards. The instant centers make independent literacy practice and sentence building a snap!
The instant centers are specially designed for independent exploration. The students use illustrated activity mats and tons of word tiles to explore sentences and word building at their own pace! Each center includes activity cards with illustrated instructions that are just right for beginners along with all the tools needed to complete each activity.

A Carpet For Kindergarten Students!
Funded Oct 17, 2014I cannot begin to thank you for your generous donation to my project! The new, clean seating area brought a huge smile to every student in my class! The new carpet has made circle time much more comfortable for everyone!
The "A Place for Everyone Classroom Carpet" has created a cooperative learning environment and has made circle time more inviting for every student. They feel comfortable while listening to stories as well as the many other activities that students do in kindergarten. With lots of big, bold squares in five vibrant colors, this giant-sized carpet has provided plenty of seating options for the whole class!
The extra-roomy squares give each child lots of space to sit and play. The color-coded rows make it easy to divide the class into small groups. The small groups have also helped with differentiating instruction and encourage team work!

Bigger is Better In TK!
Funded Aug 1, 2014I can not thank you enough for your generous donation to my project. The children were so excited when I put the color coded Paper trays and Supply bins on the tables. Everything looks so organized and the children can help with the organizing!
The Giant Magnetic Ten-Frames and counters, encourage my students to explore base ten number concepts easily... because they can see it and play with it! I simply stick the ten-frames onto any magnetic surface area then use the counters to explore essential math concepts, including making ten, addition & subtraction, more than/less than, and more! The super-versatile Hands-on Ten-frames give my students a concrete way to visualize numbers 1 to 20! These over sized trays will also help visualize when learning how to add and subtract when we get there later in the year.

Funded May 1, 2014I cannot begin to thank you for your generous donation to my project the materials brought a huge smile to every student in my class! The STEM materials have made many Math and Science lessons much more meaningful.
The innovative STEM Science stations have provided endless opportunities for the students to explore magnetism, motion, and buoyancy as they during our class activities. Each station includes cards to prompt students to perform simple experiments and comes with all the hands-on materials to complete each one.
The Measurement Centers provide an instant visual grasp of beginning measurement concepts as they conduct simple investigations with the hands-on materials for the students to manipulate. Each center includes activity cards with illustrated instructions that are just right for beginners along with all the tools needed to complete each activity.
