    Funded Apr 28, 2021

This was such a wonderful surprise to the students. They enjoyed being able to play and learn all at the same time. They are able to practice using their fine motor skills while being engaged in play like activities. All of these tools are so useful for our kindergarten tiny hands. They are able to practice many fine motor skills with each activity.

Students were super surprised when we received the packages and were eager to open them up and start using them. It was wonderful to see how their eyes opened wide as I took each package out. Thank you so much for making this happen.”

  • Guiding Kindergartners Into Reading

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

In kinder we teach the foundation that they will need to become life long readers and learners. They come in with the eagerness to grab books and read. We start with the basic skills of knowing how to hold a book, cover, title, and text. We start showing patterns in the books and slowly continue to grow them as readers.

In our kinder classroom we start with showing them how to independently and partner read. They usually start with some independent time and then get to share with a partner what they read about.

The books that were donated have been amazing. Students love having so many options and different genres of books to choose from. It is great to have choices for every student to find books that are engaging and interesting for my students to read. Thank you so much for the opportunity to provide my students with the tools they need to acquire the love of reading.”

  • Lamination = Durability

    Funded May 28, 2020

Thank you so much for the materials for laminating. This has been such a game changer for us in this classroom. Materials are able to be laminated and given to the students to use.

The students love having their math stations laminated. They are able to write on them with dry erase markers and erase with no problems. I am super excited that they are lasting more than a couple of days. Stations being laminated means that I don't have to be replacing ripped paper or pieces.

I will be working on other projects to help our classroom be more efficient. Thank you so much for your support”

  • Organized in 4th Grade

    Funded Apr 29, 2020

Thank you so much for your contribution to this classroom. My students enjoy being able to have all their reading materials in one spot. They can quickly go and grab their container which is labeled with their name and picture. This makes transition times quicker and more time reading. This also is home to their writing folders and materials. Having all their materials organized is a very nice feature for my students but also for myself.

My students love to hear when it's time to transition to reading. They quickly grab their container and are able to start reading with little time wasted.

This is definitely one step towards getting completely organized. More projects to come for other organizational material. I am super excited to get them organized!”

  • Clipboards for Fun

    Funded Jun 1, 2020

Thank you so much for the clipboards. My students really enjoy being able to use them during different components of our day to make sure they have a good writing surface. They don't have to be just at their tables anymore. They can move around the room and still have everything they need to complete their work.

Most of all they love being able to move around the room during independent reading time with their partners and have the clipboards to write on or keep the books open.

They also love to use them during math stations to be able to do the stations virtually anywhere. They enjoy having the flexibility and option to move around the room. Science is another favorite of theirs they get to hold their papers while we try different experiments and they can add notes as they go. Thank you so much for your contributions to this classroom.”
