I teach in a Title I school, with high poverty and low economic classes. Over half of my kindergarten students receive free and reduced lunch services. My classroom is an inclusion room, and consists of a variety of kids with many needs, ranging from high to low. They love hands-on learning, yet lack home environments where self-exploration can become evident.
