Learning to Love While Working Together!

It is with extremely gratitude that I write this letter on behalf of my students. Through your donations my students have been giving the opportunity to work on the computers with out distractions. My students enjoy having their own pair of headphones! At my school, students are required to take part in interventions that take place on the computers. This was often difficult for my students due to the lack of headphones. They were unable to focus and not motivated because they could not complete the tasks without proper equipment. My students have gone above and beyond their weekly goals and even come to class before school begins to get a head start!

We have continued to work on projects in our classroom this year with the theme of Working Together. My classroom is a retained, intensive acceleration self contained 3rd grade class. We have many obstacles in our way but through service learning projects and projects in general my students are learning to love themselves and others. We use our color printer to share our experiences with other students, classes and the community. We have created display of our projects outside of our classroom. My students love to see the results of their hard work. We also use our printer to share our adventures with our families. We are so thankful for your generosity! We will continue to strive for excellence this school year.”
