My students are incredible. We are active kiddos who dare to dream and accomplish big things! My school is one that puts students first. I teach at a high poverty school where all my students are free lunch. My classroom is a melting pot of learners from kids identified with Autism to students with Individualized Education Plans, 504 plans, and students without permanent homes. Like any family, my students are different in many ways, but each and every member our of class is exceptional and valuable, and through our differences, we are a caring and engaging community of learners. We have limited funds due to budget cuts, and we are exploring different avenues to supply our classrooms with the materials they need to promote student achievement.
