My 27 students are privileged to be full of wonder and excitement. Because many of them did not attend a Pre-school program, they are busy learning and exploring the joys of school. It is an absolute delight to share my passion for learning with them and watch them quickly learn and grow as Kindergarten students. To say that my students are monetarily privileged would be an understatement. Many do not have proper clothing or school supplies. It can be difficult for students so young to worry about what food they will eat outside of school or if they will have clean clothes for tomorrow. Last year, 95% of the families in the school received free and reduced lunches.
