Students will use the laptops during small groups- rotating them so every student gets a chance to access online reading programs to engage and improve their reading levels. They will be using Reading A-Z, Raz-Kids, Moby Max, and Zearn.org. These programs allow students to work independently at their level. While students are working independently with these programs, I will be teaching small groups. Laptops will keep students ready for the 21st century. They will also allow the students to use to publish finished writing (using MS word or publisher). They will also allow students to research using the web.
