• Winning the War

  Our fifth classes performed their American Revolution performance this week. It was amazing! Your donation went toward new female and male costumes and props ensuring a successful and meaningful experience as we continue to learn about this critical part of our country's history. Students were thrilled to be assigned a character role, dress up in historical costumes, and use props to re-enact battle scenes, recite verbiage from the Declaration of Independence, and highlight the key players of the Revolutionary War.   It was such a pleasure distributing classroom school supplies to our fifth grade students today. Our first day of school was that much more of a success knowing that students were set up with the materials they need this year.

  Thanks to your generous donation, every one of my fifth graders have folders and pencils boxes to stay organized, earbuds to listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and quality markers to use on their personal whiteboards. Our classroom has a new supply of markers to use on our vertical whiteboard spaces as well as a working electric pencil sharpener so things never get dull.

  Best of all, we have the peace of mind that we're ready and prepared to learn.”

One way is the peace of mind knowing that they are protected when needed. Another way is knowing that menstruation is a natural part of growing up. • Discrete, Prepared, and Protected

  Thank you! Your generous donation for feminine hygiene products such a menstrual pads and tampons will be handed out to every 5th grade girl in a cute empowering mini tote bag. Your gift allows each girl 2 pads and 2 tampons they can have when that time comes. The tote bags are small enough to keep in a backpack, sport bag, suitcase, under the sink at home, or in the truck of their parent's car. Starting your period can be a nerve wracking time for a young girl. These bags will hopefully provide peace of mind. Thank you, again.”

• Books of All Colors

  Wow! Thank you for your incredible generosity. Your donation added thirteen new and diverse books to our classroom library. This collection includes literature that represents all different backgrounds and cultures such as Korean, Japanese, African, Black-American, Latinx, and Middle Eastern. This collection also covers a variety of important topics such as kindness, civil rights, loss, compassion, fears, and bravery. I know how impactful these titles will be as we finish our 5th grade school year together, but also as I prepare for the group of students will join this classroom next year. • Building Strength and Being Safe

  These exercise mats are helpful as students continue to gain strength for our state PE requirements. We have enough mats for every pair of students to share, which is a perfect ration for the push up and curl up tests. In addition, these mats keep our students safe from injury while practice indoors or outdoors. They are high quality, so I know we will use them for years to come. Thank you for your generous donation. Improving our physical health is so important as it benefits our mental and emotional health as well as our classroom academics.
