Let's Get Physical!
Funded Jan 7, 2015Students at my school do not have many supplies for physical education. Due to your generous donation, my students as well as other students at my grade level, no longer have to wait or are at a disadvantage when it comes to equipment. With your donation to my project, as a grade level, we are able to have stations for physical education. We share the jump ropes, bean bags, and badminton set during physical education. The students from the other classes have come up to me saying thanks for letting them borrow the equipment.
It warms my heart to see how their faces light up when they use the equipment. Quite a few of my students were not able to jump rope prior to having the equipment. With the use of the equipment, they have greatly improved their coordination. A few students stated that their friends can do things, like throw and catch a bean bad or jump rope, that they couldn't do before.
I never realized just how much of an impact this project would have on my students. They cheer every time I tell them that we are going out to P.E. In the past, that would not be the case. Not only are they more coordinated but they are healthier and have much more endurance than they did at the start of school.
Again, thank you so much for your donation. It means the world to my students and I that you took the time and donated to my project.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Barraza
Electronic Classroom Assistance
Funded Jan 31, 2012I would love to thank my donors for your generosity. Students at my school are not likely to be exposed to technology that I have exposed them to without the help of your donations. My students would love to thank you very much!
The students use the Kindle Fire to read books from Dr. Seuss, which they enjoy because they are able to read the story or have the story read to them. The Kindle Fire has helped my students practice and review math concepts from counting money to telling time and practicing their math facts.
Thank you again for your donations.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Barraza
