Building our Knowledge with Brain Pop
Funded Dec 4, 2024Thank you so much for donating to my project Popping with Knowledge through Brainpop. We have had a wonderful start using our subscription. My students have really enjoyed getting to know the characters Tim and his robotic friend, Moby. The pictures attached show the students listening to a Brainpop on the French and Indian War. After we listen to Tim and Moby give the background information on the topic we are covering students then work collaboratively on answering the questions that accompany each video. So far we have used Brainpop to preview and review concepts in math, ELA, and social studies. In the future we look forward to using the other features of "Making a Movie" and " Creative Coding". I wanted to thank you again for your donation to get this exciting project funded. My students and I are very appreciative of your generosity.”

Funded Aug 27, 2024Thank you so much for your help in getting our project funded. This project gave us a whole year's worth of a Storyworks subscription that includes both a magazine for each student as well as a digital component.
Having a Storyworks subscription in our classroom has encouraged collaboration among students because we have been able to have classroom discussions about the engaging texts in the magazine. These texts have allowed us to hit upon many key reading standards after even just the first issue. By having a Storyworks subscription, my students have had exposure to prevalent news, fiction, and nonfiction texts in a captivating way!
Thank you for your generous donation towards bringing Scholastic Storyworks Magazine to my classroom! We are so lucky to have your support. Your kindness, encouragement, and investment in helping 5th-grade students engage with different text genres in an exciting way is much appreciated. Thank you again”

Showcasing Knowledge through Art
Funded Mar 27, 2024On behalf of myself and my fifth-grade students, I wanted to extend our deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation of art supplies to our classroom.
Your contribution made a significant impact on our recent scientist research project. With the materials you provided, my students were able to create vibrant and informative posters that showcased their research findings in a visually engaging manner. It was truly inspiring to see how these supplies facilitated their creativity and learning.
Additionally, we used the art supplies to create hand portraits that encapsulated memories of our entire fifth-grade year. Each student poured their heart into these artworks, and your donation helped make these special mementos possible.
Your support not only enhances our educational endeavors but also instills a sense of pride and ownership in my students' work. They were thrilled to have such high-quality materials to work with, and your generosity has encouraged them to explore their artistic talents further.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to us and has made a lasting impact on my students' educational journey.”

Funded May 6, 2024I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation towards purchasing math manipulatives and fraction sticks for my classroom. Your support will undoubtedly enhance my students' learning experience in profound ways.
With these resources, my students will have hands-on tools to grasp complex mathematical concepts with greater clarity and enthusiasm. We have already used the fraction sticks to visualize common denominators and find equivalent fractions. Your contribution not only aids in their academic growth but also fosters a deeper appreciation for learning and problem-solving.
Through the kindness and generosity of donors like you, educators like myself can create enriching educational experiences that empower students to succeed. Your belief in the importance of education is truly inspiring, and I am incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you once again for your generosity and dedication to the education of our future leaders. Your donation will have a lasting impact on my classroom and the students who benefit from it.”

Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you so much for contributing to my project. With your help, I have been able to fund my project for Body and Brain Breaks.
From the project, I was able to secure more alternative seating in my classroom. I have noticed great benefits to having students stand, move on wobble stools, and/or use our new laptop stands to raise their Chromebooks.
I was also able to purchase new brain breaks with the TPT gift card, like Scattergories, so that throughout the day we are able to reset our focus after a non-academic activity. Attention to work and focus are always better after a short break allowing the body and mind to recharge.
Thank you again for helping to get this project funded.”

Fun in Fifth Grade!
Funded Dec 18, 2022Thank you so much for the generous donation to my classroom. I was beyond thrilled to have had this project funded, and the resources from Teachers Pay Teachers continue to be of great help to me. These educational resources have helped turn any concept into a fun review game. For example, I included pictures of students playing a math fluency relay race that I purchased. I have also purchased many different Bingo games to review and reinforce many different standards. Recently my students have really enjoyed playing a coordinate plane Bingo game. These resources have been engaging while also being instructional. We look forward to using many more fun resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, for example, Figurative Language Trashketball will be a great way to prepare for our State Testing while having fun! I wanted to thank you again for your donation to get this exciting project funded. My students and I are very appreciative of your generosity.”
