• Cozy Nook for Eager Readers

  Funded May 9, 2023

  My students have been LOVING our new and improved reading nook! Every day they beg to do their work in one of the cozy chairs, and they love to lounge in the area with a good book and snack in hand during their lunch breaks. They also love the addition of the lamp and beg to use it during class instead of the overhead florescents.

  The best part of our reading nook is that it has helped create a strong culture for reading in our classroom. Here, reading is no longer a chore or "work" that has to be done. Instead, reading has become fun and enjoyable again for my students and a great way to relax and spark their imaginations. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your kindness and generosity!”

• Paper to Help Us Organize and Engage!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! With your help, we have been able to provide our students with plenty of copy paper used to create scaffolds, projects, special reminders, and more!

  Our students were so excited to see all the different colored paper! Since receiving your donation, our students have been able to stay better organized and remember to save any important papers that are colored.

  Currently, our students are working on a journal project and are excited to use the colored paper to decorate their journals and add some color to their entries. We couldn't thank you enough for helping us keep our classroom stocked with plenty of colorful paper!”
