  • Essentials for Our Classroom

    Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project. The kids were every excited when our packages arrived. When they found out it was an electric pencil sharpener believe it or not, they were thrilled that we finally had one that worked.

    The other items that I received were also put to use immediately. I used the laminating machine to laminate the agendas that I put together for the students. The students use their agendas as a calendar and record their daily homework and project assignments. I also use them to communicate with parents.

    It simple things pencil sharpeners and laminating machines that some people over look and are a must in the classroom. In any profession, tools of the trade are essential and in classroom it's the same.

    Once again, thank for donations and making an impact in our classroom.”

  • Third Graders Using Technology To Succeed

    Thank you so much for donations. The tablets you have donated have had a great impact in my students' learning. They use the tablets on a daily basis. They use them to read books, which helps them practice their fluency. They use them to practice their multiplication facts. 

    The use of the tablets are endless. The students have also used them to do research in social studies and science. The tablets have helped the students to access information so much easier than the use of textbooks. Anytime they have a question about something they go straight to the tablets. The tablets are a tool that has motivated to want to know more about our world. Thanks again for your donations.&nbsp”

    Thank you all for your contributions. Your donations have helped our classroom to expand our class library. The books have had a great impact. Students have used the books to build there fluency and comprehension. It is a great feeling to see the students wanting to read. The students are able to read the books in class and take them home. It's so important we instill a love for reading. With this love of books students are able to use there imaginations to do the impossibilities that books offer us. Once again thank you for the gift of reading. ”

My students are third graders. They have an interest in reading and are motivated but because of their economic status some don't have the money to buy books. The school that they attend is a Title 1 school and is in desperate need of funds to get students the necessary tools to enhance their learning.
