My students learn in a small urban community where 100% of students receive free lunch. Approximately 80% of our students live in low income housing and it is estimated that 30% of our students parents are unable to read. It is with these odds stacked against them that they come to our school each day to learn. Our school offers almost 50 different extra curricular activities in clubs and sports throughout the school year and about 1/3 of our student population participates daily afterschool. Our dedicated teaching staff makes the most of the few resources we have available to provide our students with the education they deserve.
