    Thank you for supporting my classroom! In this order, I ordered the remaining Holocaust novels I needed to use in my classroom this year, after the year of losing the novels due to Covid.

    The other things I ordered are hygiene items and things to improve the environment of my classroom. The light covers are particularly popular with my students. The tint of the room is not as bright, which allows for less strained reading both in print and on devices.

  • The Holocaust in 8th Grade

    Funded Aug 29, 2023

    With your support of my Holocaust in the 8th grade project, my students will be able to read from print copies of Holocaust narratives written by victims and survivors of the Holocaust. This subject is vitally important to me as an educator, and my students in the past several years have learned so much by reading these narratives. Hearing the first person accounts from witnesses gives them a perspective different from just the history of the era, and that makes it more personal. One of my goals as a Holocaust educator is to translate statistics into people, and the narratives give that to students better than just providing the history.
