Please Give My Students a New Classroom Rug!
Funded Oct 24, 2022I would like to thank you for your kind and generous donations that made it possible for our classroom to receive a brand new rug. We have been utilizing it consistently since we received it. This area is our daily meeting place during instructional time when I teach students daily lessons in all academic topics. This meeting place helps students focus on their new learning. It is also conducive for students to have partner and group discussions.
Students were surprised and elated when they saw it. Their expressions on the first day it arrived were, "It's so clean!" "It's so bright!" "It's beautiful!" My students wanted to let you know that they will take care of their new rug. Thank you for making their educational experience better. It's what they deserve.”

We Need Team Exercise Equipment!
Funded Oct 11, 2013I would like to thank you for your kind donation. Thanks to you, our class has been enjoying new sport equipment! Students have been practicing their baseball skills with our new bats. Many of these students are experiencing this for the first time! Additionally, they have been mastering their gross motor skills using the different types of balls. We also had a blast using the giant parachute. Please imagine lots of laughter and happiness when you think of us. We truly appreciate your support and generosity.”

Funded Sep 3, 2013I just wanted to share with you how your kind donation was able to improve our classroom library. All the children were thrilled to receive the shipment of books. My first grade students read at different levels but all of them are learning to love books and have discovered the joy of reading. Thanks to your donation, our class received hundreds of new books that have motivated my students to read more and more each week so they can get to more new books.
Each student chooses 7 books each week. With a class of 27 students, we needed a large quantity of books. My students already have favorites and have been practicing different comprehension skills for the past few months with those books that enjoy reading so much. It has been very helpful to have more books because students don't have to read the same books weeks after week. You have provided them with more choices in reading.
I have been able to teach my students that reading requires thinking and that one can learn from any book. Thanks to your donation, I have books that all children can access. This supports my teaching tremendously. You have also contributed to many years of wonderful reading experiences for hundreds of future students.”
