Since my students like to sit on the floor during reading time, these literacy squares, circles, and pillows will provide them an extra comfort. They can then focus on their learning and not constantly have to get up to move around because they are uncomfortable. Because they have different colors and letters, these will also provide them "a space of their own". These materials will provide comfortable seating so that they can put their best effort into their learning without having to squabble for space and comfort. I want to ensure that our learning space is a place that will give my students the ability to focus on their learning and gain the skills necessary to be successful.
