Funded Oct 3, 2024Thank you so much for your quick and supportive donations! My students will use the putty daily to not only warm up their writing muscles but also as a way to provide sensory input during break time. Small Group Tables For Our Room
Funded May 9, 2023With the addition of our small group tables, my class has been able to meet by grade level and ability level during math, English Language Development and Language Arts. I have been able to separate select students whose personalities may not align while also building community within table groups. The small group tables have also allowed service providers such as Speech and Occupational Therapy come into the classroom and provide push in services to my class at the same time.
As my classroom is a multiple grade span classroom (Kindergarten through 3rd grade) as well as a multiple eligibility class (Autism, Specific Learning Disability, OHI) the tables allow movement and freedom of choice during the lessons.”

Funded Nov 28, 2022Thank you again for your generous donations. The EPSON Printer has made major changes in our classroom behavioral interventions. My classroom consists of 15 amazing students. Their grades range from TK- third grade and within that five grade level span, I have students with many different behaviors. Some need consistent visual cues that provide independent scheduling that can vary each day. With that, having a color printer in the classroom has made it so that I can easily develop and/or find a visual schedule that helps them throughout their day.
I can also use the printer and the gift cards from TeacherPayTeachers to develop supplemental materials to support the learning of each grade level. With 15 students and only two adults, it is nearly impossible to address all of our learning needs. Our class can focus on an overarching learning goal and then supplement from there. My students have mastered place value-- understanding how many hundreds, tens and ones. They have also mastered two dimensional shapes understanding their attributes such as sides, corners and also how to decompose the shapes into halves, thirds and fourths.
I am so proud of my students and all of their accomplishments. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support!”
