Dreaming of Technology
Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you for your generous donation to fund my project. The laptop you donated has allowed my students to do research for projects and write essays. In addition, they enjoy playing educational games to help them solidity their academic needs in math and English. We are honor that you chose our class and are grateful for your donation.
As for me, as a special education teacher, I am able to use the laptop for lesson planning, teach to my students and write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Having a computer that has a fast procession system makes it easier and faster for me to complete these necessary documents in a timely manner. Know that your donation is being cared for and used on a daily basis to help my students academically.

Funded Nov 29, 2017I want to thank you for your generous donation to my project. During the last few months, my students have had a blast using the new computers, supplies, and headphones to do their work. They have been fascinated with how simple and easy it has been to do most of their school work.
We have been studying history and through the use of technology, they have traveled through all of the places we have discussed and have been amazed at how interesting and exciting learning history can be.
The students in my math and science class have used the computers to play math games, learn their time tables using music, and did research on natural resources, animals, and the skeletal system, to name of few. In addition, time has been allocated during class time to help my students learn how to keyboard. I can't say enough about how my instruction has been enhanced because my students have access to technology.
On behalf of my students and myself, I want to thank you again for your generous donation to our classroom and look forward to traveling through the world and experiencing the magic of learning.”

Creative Classroom
Funded Apr 21, 2016Dear Donors;
My students and I want to thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. During the last couple of months, I've had the pleasure of helping my students complete some awesome projects using our new supplies. We were able to work on our Hebrew unit by making posters about the different Jewish leaders as well as the Egyptian mummification process in history class. Also, we worked on the process of Weathering in science class and made dioramas about animals for our Interaction of Living Things unit. All of my students had a blast and were more than eager to work on their assignments. It was fantastic to see their faces light up when I showed them all of our new supplies available to them to enjoy and use as needed. I'm looking forward to making new and exciting projects for the next school year. Again, thank you so much for your continual support of our education program.”

Powering Up Our Future
Funded Sep 15, 2014My students and I want to thank you for your generosity to our classroom. The students were so happy to know that we finally had computers to use for projects, research, and educational games.
So far, we have been able to use the computers for doing research for projects, which include building volcanoes, Egyptian pharaohs, and practicing mathematical games to prepare for common core testing. Additionally, the students are sharpening up their computer skills by learning how to type and make power point presentations.
We are looking forward to installing more free apps for science and math to help my students practice their time tables and number sense skills. Also, it has been very exciting to see my students reading skills increase and work together on various activities. We thank you again and we can't wait to see the many accomplishments and academic successes my students will achieve by using this tablets.”

Green Thumbs and Green Minded
Funded Jun 4, 2012Before our project was funded we lacked the resources necessary to start our own classroom garden. However, thanks to your generosity, during the last few months my students have learned how wonderful gardening can be. They have worked together to plant flowers and vegetables from seed and seen how they grow and develop into beautiful flowers and vegetables that are nutritious for them.
I have been able to integrate the garden into my science lessons and taught them the entire process of growing plants from seeds. I have also seen how the most quiet or active students have become so insightful and interested in growing plants. In addition, I have seen my students creativity develop as they arrange and mix different flowers and vegetables. The entire process has been a blessing to our classroom. Some of my students have even decided to start their own gardens at home. I thank you again for your generous donation to our classroom. You have made a world of difference in the lives of my students.”
