I have the honor of teaching 22 amazing kindergarteners in a Spanish Dual-language immersion program.
My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, compassionate, kind, and hard working. They enjoy story time, dancing, singing, and hands-on activities.
I teach in a Title 1 school in Gardena, California, where all students receive free breakfast and lunch. Due to their socioeconomic status many of these students lack the tools and resources that are essential to their education. I believe that my students deserve the opportunity to reach their fullest potential and feel successful regardless of what background they come from, regardless of what deficit they face. They deserve to have the tools and resources needed for a quality education and becoming our leading future.
