What a better way to expose each student to a "new world" through a book? In first grade, the students are learning how to read and they are eager to read more as the year progresses. The students enjoy both reading and being read to. During our Differentiated Instruction time the students have options of different activities, one being the listening center. The listening center is a quiet escape for the students. The students will grab their headphones from the requested hooks, keeping the listening center neat and organized, while they listen. They get to look at the pictures and imagine themselves in another world. This project will empower my students and nurture their love for reading. These materials will make a long lasting impact being used by students year after year. Thank you for supporting our classroom!
