• Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader!

  My students were so thrilled when they received the books, post-its and other goodies. Their love and joy for reading was sparked immediately. Students have enjoyed reading the Wimpy Kids and Amulet series so much! Every time they finish reading one book, they are excited about the new adventure that they will embark as they get the next book.

  A significant outcome as a result of this project was that my students' reading fluency increased. Some students increased their oral reading fluency by almost 40 words. As a class teacher, I can't thank you enough for such a joyful reading experience.”

• Distance Learning

  Thank you for this gift card. TPT has so many amazing resources. As the months have gone by, I've had to leverage many of those resources, so that they could meet the academic needs of my students.

  Learning the letter names and sounds is very important, so I purchased themed letters and created charts where students complete the alphabet and then record themselves singing the alphabet. By far, this type of activity has benefitted my class as they demonstrate their knowledge through a recording of themselves as they move the letters to the correct spaces.

  I also purchased a variety of clipart and yoga clipart to create a reading and yoga session. It has helped students increase segmentation as well as improving their emotional well-being as they pause in between to do some yoga poses. My students love these videos.   Your generous donations have truly impacted my class in a way that has transformed my teaching approach. I have had to make many adjustments since I began teaching through distance learning. One of the challenges that I found myself trying to figure out was how I would continued to create my content rigorous and engaging when I was so far from my students.

  There are no words to describe my gratitude for your generous donations. As an educator, I've always believed in providing a top quality education for my students. However, the pandemic put a big cloud over my instructional approach. In the Summer, I was faced with a big challenge. How do I ensure that I promote necessary motor development through long distance learning? But thanks to your donations, my students are thriving! They have developed a strong grip using the play-doh. They can quickly share their ideas by using the dry erase magnetic board.
