STEM for Kindergarten
Funded Nov 14, 2024I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to my DonorsChoose project. Thanks to your support, my students now have access to an incredible array of STEM resources that will inspire creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
We've already begun exploring the Magnetic Blocks, Waffle Blocks, and STEM Pixel Art Challenge. The kids are having so much fun building and creating! The Engineering Building items and Code & Go Robot Mouse are helping them develop critical thinking skills, while the 3 Little Pigs, 3 Billy Goats Gruff, and Goldilocks and the 3 Bears STEM Kits have sparked their imaginations and enhanced their learning experiences.
Your contribution is making a lasting impact on my students' educational journeys. These hands-on activities allow them to engage with STEM concepts in a meaningful and fun way, and they are absolutely loving it.
Once again, thank you for believing in my students and supporting their growth. Your kindness is making a world of difference!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Acheson

Funded Nov 22, 2021The two STEM activities I received have helped my kids in many ways. The kids use the Alpha-Bots, Number-Bots and Build-A-Number Houses during math centers. They are also learning about numbers and how to make objects using shapes.
The kids are most excited to build using the engineer and manipulative STEM items we received. They are excited to use them whenever they finish up work or have free time.
Each and every child is excited to use the new STEM manipulatives and are anxiously waiting their turn. They have learned how to build different items such as cars, buildings, a zoo, animals and etc. The kids are able to use their imagination while using the wonderful STEM manipulatives you have provided our classroom.”

Technology=Great Learning
Funded Jul 31, 2019Thank you so much for your donations towards an iPad and Osmo Kits. The kids have enjoyed working with shapes, numbers and letters while using the iPad and Osmo Kits.
We are in the third month of school and I just brought the iPad and Osmo Kits out to use as a center. This is something new and exciting for the kids. Many of the kids do not have the Osmo Kit at home which is very helpful when learning how to work with numbers and letters.
The Osmo Kits and iPad are shared throughout the day. I usually let 2 people go on at a time so that they can work together to figure out problems. It is great not only academically but socially too.
Thanks so much for your donation!”
