Funded Sep 15, 2018I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that since our project has been funded 5 years ago, the flexible seating that you contributed to providing for my students is still being used in my 2nd grade classroom today!
Students are greatly benefiting from being able to move while they learn without interrupting their learning or the learning of others.
Students are able to stay seated longer during learning experiences and during independent practice of skills.
Since implementing the flexible seating you helped provide, you've impacted over 75 students and their learning experiences!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Achenbach
Earmuffs for Selective Silence and Concentration
Funded Apr 14, 2023The earmuffs have been an incredible addition to our classroom toolbox! Every student now has the ability and CHOICE to work in silence if they feel the need to do so.
Students have been choosing to use them when music is playing in the background, when their table mates are being too noisy, when they are distracted by the hallway commotion, and when they can't drown out the sounds of the environment. The appreciation they have for this ability is humbling.
The work that students are able to create and the knowledge they are able to show because of this gift of concentration is priceless.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Achenbach

Funded Oct 24, 2018I can't believe that just a short while ago I posted my Lego WeDo 2.0 project on Donor's Choose with high hopes that maybe I'd find some people who support education to donate to my classroom project. I wasn't exactly sure how successful I would be, but thought I would give it a try!
I attended a training on Lego WeDo sets at our very own CESA 3 and I was impressed with the entire process of creating and coding! I am so very humbled at your generosity! I used to work for 3M of Prairie du Chien during the summer of my college years, and my Dad has worked for 3M for more years than I know! Our connection runs deeper than your donation, and for that I am thankful! I am so appreciative of your support!
My students are going to GO CRAZY when the boxes arrive with our 3 sets of Lego WeDo 2.0s!! Check back for pictures of our class in action creating projects and to see the difference you have made in the learning of my current students and future students!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Achenbach
