Thank you so much for helping us have a color printer in our classroom! I love being able to display my students work in class by having the accessibility of a classroom printer. We have been using this printer to show off our work and to hang things up in the room and for our bulletin board in class. Thank you for everything you have done to make my classroom successful during this school year. They work so hard and getting to see their work in color hung up around the room so that they can show it off!”

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom project! My students work so hard and I love to be able to give them these extras such as the wobble chairs to help them concentrate in my classroom! Sometimes they are in my classroom for long periods of time, and so having these resources like cushions and chairs makes a world of a difference for my students. Thank you so much for everything you have done to help make my classroom the best possible place that it can be for my 6th grade students this year!”

Thank you so much for contributing to my iPad project! My students will be thrilled with having this technology in our classroom for the new year! They work very hard and I would like to give them access to the best technology possible in our classroom! I thank you for your kindness and generosity towards our classroom and I cannot wait for this device to come so that we have it for all of our learning here at IS 77. Without donors like you, none of this would be possible for my students and I am grateful.”

My students and I cannot thank you extensively enough for your kindness and generosity. The donations you have decided to make have allowed us all to progress as individuals since we have implemented our new resources into our classroom activities. The students have been ecstatic about exploring new technologies and learning tools such as virtual reality, literature circles and book clubs, as well as discussing the functionality of Socratic seminars and restorative circles just to name a few. One specific example that immediately stands out to me on a personal level is in reference to a culturally responsive virtual reality world tour activity in which we recently engaged in. Again, thank you very much.”
The project has been extremely impactful and the resources have been there to support my students every day. The attitude and mindset required for academic growth has always been there for my students but a lack of resources is a great obstacle to overcome. Your generosity and consideration has allowed our classroom to become a place where learners thrive every day. On behalf of my students and myself I would like to thank everyone once more for contributing and making a difference in the educational experience of these students.”
I will be able to engage my students more effectively in small group settings, particularly in regards to foundational skills and phonics programs. The whiteboard allows me to see exactly what students are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Many of my special education students are very easily distracted and fidget when asked to sit and focus for extended periods of time.
These supplies will allow me to supplement other strategies by making my classroom a more inviting and comfortable learning environment. I will also be able to build safe spaces within my classroom for my students to read and complete independent work. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. Any help is much appreciated!
