My lessons are already structured in phases that include digital media, but it is difficult to make the learning more self-directed due to resource limitations, therefore we tackle each phase individually or as a class. I would like to implement a station learning experience for my students via a digital media station: a large-screen laptop and 10 over-the-ear headphones. This will enable my students to move around the classroom to different stations and complete phases independently. They will be able to learn for themselves as opposed to having the content delivered to them. My students can then take greater ownership of their learning and academic achievement, and I can go from being a deliverer of content to a facilitator of student growth.
