My students have been given access to Chromebooks to help support and prepare them for their eventual foray into testing on a computer. These Chromebooks all my students to have access to all kinds of incredible websites to both accelerate and support their education. However, my students need a class set of headphones with microphones so they can hear what the text is reading to them, or the directions for next steps (without the the entire room hearing it!) These headphones have attached microphones so my students will be able to record themselves reading or answering questions, or chime into discussions clearly. So, to maximize their "screentime" The teacher microphone I have requested will allow me to successfully record lessons and read alouds to be enjoyed when (or if) we have to work asynchronously again.
