• Sanitizing Our Safe Space!

  Funded Jan 25, 2022

  Thank you so much for your donation. It helped keep us faced sanitized while combating Cove 19. It also helps students learn the importance of cleaning and ways to address the ADLs. ADLs or activities of daily living so learning how to vacuum and to mop helps my students with life lessons outside of school.

  Your donations also helped with an SEL lesson of generosity. It allowed students to see how strangers can donate their money to of course they believe in.

• Puzzles for Students With Anxiety

  My students with learning disabilities and ADHD love assembling these puzzles. It gives them a sense of ownership over their work and is a tangible item for them to see this success. Many students learn in different ways and I've noticed students who are more hands-on feel a better sense of school and self when assembling items such as puzzles.

• Restorative circle/Workout equipment

  Thank you for every thing! Thank you for all of your donations It has impacted my children more then you know. They have expressed an immense amount of gratitude as they were surprised perfect strangers would have donated to them.

  Your donations also allowed us to talk about generosity as it is an SEL lesson we cover throughout the year.

• Meditation Room

  Thank you so much for donating! Your donations have impacted 1600 students who have used the space when stressed with daily stressors, trauma and testing anxiety. My students are Alex cited and can not believe that people would give their hard earned money to them. This allows me to have a conversation about generosity which became an SEL lesson!

• Games for a Healthy Mind

  Your donation has helped my students feel comfortable and supported. For my students who do not talk or have learned to not speak when emotional, the games have helped them speak and build a rapport with me. The other counselor have also utilized these games making this donation reach triple the amount of students.

  As the materials came into the school the students were excited and helped open the boxes. By having a selection of toys the students are practicing being more assertive and choosing topics with confidence. Due to Covid students have regressed with their ability to voice themselves, These game have truly made an incredible impact!”

• Mental Health Material and Literature

  You're kindness has reached my students and have allowed them to have a deeper understanding in their own mental health. These books have allowed me to meet every students individual needs making their sessions more patient centered. They are showing a huge improvement in self esteem which is correlated in their improvements with peers and their grades. As a provider of mental health services, literature in a school tends to be limited and your donation has allowed my school to build their library. I am fortunate to have an administration headed by my principal who values mental health and their support with your donation has impacted over 1600 kids.”

• Zen Space

  Thank you so much for your generous donations and kind words!

  As many of you may know, my students are transitioning from learning remote with minimal social interaction and are returning back to the school building.This transition has been difficult for many of them. This space has given them an opportunity to learn mindfulness techniques in a location that is not over stimulating.

  The room has become cozy and welcoming and I could not have been able to do that without your support.

  My students were very excited to unpack the materials and set up their meditation space. Many of them have already scheduled regular meditation sessions!”
