  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    My school will begin its first podcast club this month. We have already selected our talent. The next step is content. This project fueled my assistant principal to set up a meeting on how we will begin. I've asked several students and they are interested in participating. They can't wait to get started! The headphones are also a lifesaver. Students are able to listen to calming music and complete their work. One student mentioned that listening to the calming music, has lessened his anxiety.”

  • Exercise Away Stress

    My students immediately took interest in the stress and exercise balls. It's been months since I received the materials and I'm constantly receiving requests to use the gripper and donuts. The act of squeezing transformed their stress into excitement energy. It is also a big help for students that lack interest in school. One student told me that he looks forward to playing with the objects. Another student enjoys the opportunity to work out and build muscle in school. They now love to be in my classroom.”

  • Liquid Heat Magic

    The thermal energy squares were a hit! Students were excited to explore them. We used the squares to teach students about heat transfer. Students were asking intriguing questions about the squares in the real world. One student asked what would happen if someone touched the square when they were sick. Another student shared that the square would be useful to determine if someone was sick. This was inquiry at its best! Thank you again for your generous support. My students are grateful!”

    They are the perfect tools for my students that prefer kinesthetic learning. Just the other day, they modeled force and motion with Lego pieces!

  • Reduce, Reuse, 3D!

    Funded May 24, 2024

    My students are fascinated with the a bamboo lab 3D printer. As soon as I took it out of the box they asked me what it was. This machine is super fast. They love the little paper holder trinket and the boat is a big hit. I can't wait to teach them how to print out their own stuff. You would be amazed with how it works and how it can calibrate and structure itself. Future projects can include building a heart, candy maker, and a fan to cool my room. I am enthusiastic to see the potential my students have with this machine.”
