My students are very eager to learn about the world around them. They become very engaged when working with current events that affect their daily lives. They may complain when learning about the past but when the connection between past events and current events is made clear the light bulb in their head turns on and they forgive me. I am blessed to have students that become engaged and want to learn more. My School is a Title I school with a large percentage of students on free or reduced lunch. We are a small school with roughly four hundred eager to learn students. Our district has little funding for extra resources and many families within the district are already contributing when possible. Our staff and students greatly appreciate your support.
