Updated Calculators to Help Students Better Learn Math!

Thank you very much for helping me to have the ability to provide calculators for my students! Having these calculators will immediately help so many students as we will be able to keep 20 or so for short-term checkout during our intervention/work time and the remaining 31 will be available for students to check out and take home and also use in their Math classes. These 51 calculators will benefit MANY more than 51 students and for that, I am extremely appreciative of your support!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education.

Math is a difficult subject for many people, especially students who haven't had a normal school year in multiple years due to the pandemic. Math is one of those subjects that builds on itself and if you miss a concept or struggle to fully understand a concept then the following topics and years may suffer. One of the ways we can help students combat some of this loss is to make sure they have all the tools needed for success. This project is about purchasing needed calculators to help our students have some of those tools. These updated calculators are easier to use, have clear notation, and will allow our students to understand the math easier. The screen is larger and they are able to enter full expressions that look like what is written on their paper. By using these updated calculators, students will have a better chance to see more success than without.
