  • When Little Pigs Calmly Fly

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you for your generosity. I cannot begin to express how helpful and timely your donations are at a time when our school's budget is at an all-time low. It truly takes a village, as they say. I hope to continue this momentum and create more wonderful projects to help my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Dillon

  • Calm and Cute Printing Supplies

    Funded Mar 14, 2025

Thank you for your generous donations. The large amount of PLA plastic filament that our classroom received was an exciting surprise for the students. The array of colors gives us a plethora of options to choose from when designing and printing fidgets and other classroom demonstration pieces. My students are excited to start planning and they are so pleased that the project got funded so quickly. Thank you again for all that you do. We couldn't do these types of fun projects without your support.”

  • Calm and Colorful 3D

    Funded Mar 11, 2025

Thank you for your incredible support! This new 3D printer sets up our students for new and successful opportunities. We are well on our way to building a true 21st-century classroom with a wonderful maker space where students explore their scientific curiosity in a quiet and calm setting.

Your donations are crucial in making the dreams of my students become a reality. I am constantly blown away by the generosity of strangers. Please consider donating to future projects of mine so that I can continue to grow our classroom resources and help our students”

  • Physics is Fun!

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you for your support! This project couldn't have happened without your generosity. Our classroom now has several new tools that can be enjoyed for years to come. The bee-spi digital timer allows us to collect and record real data about moving objects. The x-darts and balloon launcher allow us to have safe, launchable projectiles to study 2-dimensional motion. The Euler's disk allows my students to have a very interesting visual phenomenon as an introduction to the conservation of rotational inertia. The chalk allows us to create semi-permanent charts on the white board to use as we fill in data.”

  • Phone-free Time Zone

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you for your support! This project couldn't have happened without your generosity. Our classroom now has reliable and easy-to-use timers that can be enjoyed for years to come. These devices allow the students to collect and record data during their physics experiments without the need to pull out their phones and be possibly distracted by other apps or social media. This is also in line with our latest state and district requirements as it pertains to restricting cell-phone use during instructional time. This is such good TIMING to have timers! Pun definitely intended.”

  • Voyage to the Beyond with a Pocket Lab!

    Funded Aug 19, 2024

I am thrilled that my new students will have more technology to help them learn about the world around them. As we begin the school year it is a lot of fun to see the students get direct scientific data and start to interpret and learn the topics.

It is without a doubt that donors like you make a huge difference in the lives of these students and I am extremely lucky that you chose to donate to my project. Thank you so much for your generosity. I could not teach in the same way without your support!”

  • 3d Printing Lives On!

    Funded Jan 16, 2024

Thank you for your generosity. Your donations have allow my class to replenish some of their plastic filament supplies that were starting to dwindle. They also loved to new tri-color filaments that allow for objects to be different colors from different sides!

These items are allowing our class to be more fully immersed in STEM activities. 3D printing has started expand my students creativity for what they can create and make for their projects.

As a teacher I am able to make manipulatives and other hands on demonstration items that I would otherwise have to buy. The supply of plastic filament allows our science department's money to go farther.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Dillon

  • Physics in Action!

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

The materials received are guaranteed to keep my students engaged and immersed in learning as we cover a multitude of scientific principles! Thank you for encouraging my students through your generosity. The projectile launcher with the stainless steel ball bearings and glass marbles will be a surefire hit when they get to see physics and mathematical principles take shape in real life!

The constant velocity vehicle will be part of one of my students' first labs next fall as they learn about position vs time. Finally, The whitling plastic tubes will be used soon this spring as we discuss the Doppler effect, while the laser pointers will be used when discussing light wavelengths and other light principles.

Thank you again for your donations. I could not do this without you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Dillon

  • Launch Time!

    Funded Oct 10, 2023

Thank you for your donations. The BeeSpi photogate and the Mini Projectile Launcher will be used for years to come. My students have already begun using the photogate to measure the speed of Hot Wheels cars as they pass through a ramp from varying heights.

The mini projectile launcher is a hit in my classroom. It is being used in conjunction with carbon paper that is laid down on the floor. This allows students to see exaclty where the objects land so that they can take precise measurements of their objects' displacements.

These are items that will used by thousands of students for years to come. Thank you you for your support”

  • STEM Board Books for High School Students

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

These board books are a great way for my students to learn about new and interesting fields of science. Even though many of my students are about to begin college, these books provide a simplified way of understanding the meaning behind complex ideas.

You don't have to be a baby to use baby board books. I would recommend these to everyone! My students are able to read these after completing their usual assignments or if they finishing testing early. They will also have the option of creating lessons or teaching concepts from the books to other students.

I greatly appreciate your generosity that allows me to enhance my students' classroom experience.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Dillon

By moving the projector to the ceiling, the students will have more space and I as the teacher will have the freedom to move about anywhere in the classroom without interrupting the lesson. Currently, the projector is located on a cart in the middle of the students' desks in order to provide a large screen image that can be viewed by everyone. With up to 44 students in the classroom, needing to move to the middle of the classroom can be distracting. The wireless connectivity provided by the LAN module will allow for greater student interaction and smoother transitions between activities. The students would also be able to connect their laptops directly to the projector to share work with the class. This would improve overall engagement and create a more positive working environment for the students. New speakers will allow all of my students to stay engaged in lessons involving audio-visuals by providing. Currently, we not have speakers that can adequately produce enough sound to reach the whole classroom. Together, all these items will enhance the flow of the lessons for students and give the students a more enhanced 21st-century classroom experience.
