Supplies for the New School Year!
Funded May 4, 2021The new school year started off so smoothly for me this year thanks to your help! I was able to laminate more than enough material to help my students have hands on experience with many different manipulatives. And with the storage units I had on my list, my new material is safe and organized for future use. These supplies have been a blessing and have made my prep easier and more fulfilling.
Another item that has really help is the essential oils. I use a diffuser in my classroom, and now it always smells good. It is also calm and relaxing, which has helped with some behaviors in my classroom. And when we have little behaviors, my students are able to learn that much more.
Again, without your help, this school year could have started off more stressful than it was. Your help is what has made learning in my classroom more fun and enjoyable for my students.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Cory
This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Drive-In and 3 other donors.Digital Classroom Experience
Funded Feb 4, 2021Again, I can't thank you enough for your generous and loving support of my classroom and my students. Your generosity allowed me to develop daily group meetings to help students learn what the day of the week it is, how the weather changes, and other fun and engaging activities. Without the access and membership that you helped me secure through Nearpod, I would not have been able to develop a daily morning meeting that was unique for each day.
With the pandemic changing our learning environments, this digital program allowed me to continue using the digital platform in an educational way in the classroom. Nearpod is an amazing product that allowed my students to be hands on in a digital word. With those activities, students are not only working academically, but they are also learning to use their fine motor skills.
These opportunities provided by you and your generosity has continued to help my classroom and my students. I am so thankful that you are part of my class and my teaching. Words will never be enough to show you my gratitude. Thank you again.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Cory
