"Creativity is now as important in education as literacy," Sir Ken Robinson. I teach 4th grade at a Creative Arts Elementary school. We infuse the arts across the whole curriculum with the goal of helping learners think, create, adapt, cooperate, and innovate. I believe that the skills learned during an arts education translate perfectly into STEM subjects as well. We're changing STEM to STEAM by adding the arts! While our school has lots of fantastic arts supplies, we are always looking for new and exciting tools to improve the STEM part of the curriculum.
