Girls Run S.T.E.A.M.
Funded Oct 22, 2024I am thrilled to share the profound impact your generosity has had on my students and our classroom. Because of your support, our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) project is now a reality, and our students are diving into a world of creativity, exploration, and innovation like never before.
The materials and resources you helped provide have opened doors to engaging and hands-on learning experiences that would not have been possible otherwise. From designing intricate structures during engineering challenges to exploring the wonders of science through experiments and coding, these tools are sparking curiosity and encouraging my students to think critically and solve problems collaboratively.
One of the most memorable moments so far was watching a group of students tackle their first robotics challenge. Their excitement was contagious as they brainstormed solutions, tested their designs, and cheered each other on. This project not only taught them the fundamentals of engineering and programming but also fostered teamwork, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Your support has truly transformed our learning environment into a space where students feel empowered to dream big and achieve more. These skills and experiences are building a strong foundation that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
Thank you for believing in the power of STEAM education and for investing in the future of my students. Your kindness and commitment to their growth mean the world to us.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Brown

Funded Jan 1, 2023Thank you so much for your support for my class. We have been able to do so many things with the resources that you all helped fund. I have been able to create many literacy and math centers to facilitate learning in a positive manner. For example, I have been able to create useful centers that students can reuse to learn better. I have used supplies to make tangible resources for students to take home to study with and reference to.
The supplies included card stock, copy paper, pens, and other manipulatives. My kids were excited to see that they would new things in the room. I want to thank you all for your support in educating the youth.”

Level-Up Literacy
Funded Aug 11, 2022thank you for your support. The resources for this project have helped create a print-rich classroom where students can visualize learning concepts. The students in my class are majority English Language Learners and they need that visual support to learn more deeply. Our literacy centers are more engaging because students are getting visuals and remember content based on what they see. The students are truly enjoying more visuals because they may have not been exposed to certain things based on where they are from. The print-rich classroom has overall supported my mission to provide adequate learning experiences to students from diverse backgrounds.”

Funded Aug 25, 2022Thank you so much for your support in bringing STEAM into my classroom. Being that my school is on the lower end of low-income, we tend to not have access to many resources that can help students learn academically. The resources you have help provide have helped my students become creative thinkers and inquisitive learners. With the resources, we are creating dioramas, small replicas of everything, and thinking critically about how to build safe modes of transportation which align with our Science standard of Motion and our school's mission to provide STEAM-based instruction.
Next, we are going to try to get more resources that help students think critically and enjoy STEAM practices.”
