• Apple TV Will Help Them All See

  After installing the Apple TV in our classroom the students have been impressed and engaged by the technology on a totally new level. Everyday I have students using the Apple TV for their projects and for sharing student work. I am now equipped as a teacher to move around the room and still engage the students with the display from my tablet and from my computer.

  It is hard to imagine my classroom now without this critical piece of equipment. It is exactly what was needed to get the job done.”

  There is so much excitement around our theater program this year and you are a huge part of that. We have installed the new microphones and are just a few weeks away from our annual school play that will be able to feature for the first time the beautiful sound of clear, amplified, student voices, heard throughout our performance space.

• Tony Award Winning Plays for our Theater Class Library

  With our school year off to a fantastic start these plays have been a huge asset to our student actors. This list of classic plays really put our classroom library up a few notches. There will be students performing selections from a few of these in our upcoming monologue and two person scene units. None of this would be possible without your generosity. Great plays are the lifeblood of a theater classroom and with your help we are establishing a first rate library and class. Thank you so much.”

• Broadway Mics for Broadway's Future Stars

  The school year is getting started around here and it is absolutely incredible to have access to this new equipment for the first time. Our first play is around the corner and we will be using the new microphones for the first time. Already students are able to see and interact with the technology in the classroom. Having these two microphones does wonders for student perception of the program. Seeing top of the line equipment at our school gives them pride. It also is a great tool to help grow the program. Students want to be a part of an activity with up to date technology.

  I am so incredibly grateful for your generosity. The microphones that you help provide for our students have made all the difference in the world. I am so glad that our performances have the audio quality of a more professional theater now. The microphones arrived just in time for our spring performance this semester and it was a huge improvement. Every time I have had students on stage since then, the microphones have brought their voices all throughout the space and made the whole experience of watching theater in a Gym/Auditorium that much better.

  As i was hanging the new lighting you helped provide in our theater classroom this fall I realized something, light brings the stage to life. It is amazing to watch the students come to the space lit up by this professional equipment and transform into characters.   The soundboard you provided for our program is the exact piece of equipment we needed. The student sound technician for our school play was ecstatic when she found out that we have brand new equipment. • Library of Plays for Middle School Actors

  When the materials you helped purchase arrived for my students I was overjoyed. Allowing students access to these books and plays will connect students to theater in a new way in my classroom this year.   Light is the secret sauce of the theater. If you put students in a room with working lighting equipment it can turn even the most shy among them into performers. • Screenplays by Students in Perfect Form

  This fall when i had student come to me and ask "Mr. B, can we make a movie in class" I was able to respond without fear. I immediately agreed to help with their creative cause on one condition, that they use this new software to help them format their script. The process is still getting started but the drafts I have scene of their project are much closer to spec scripts than anything my middle school kids have ever handed me. In the long run your gift is going to give these kids a working knowledge of the film industry that is invaluable to budding artist. For this I am grateful.”
