My students need soccer balls to help them succeed in P.E. class. In my gym class I have very few soccer balls. With a new soccer team that has recently come to our city, many of my students have become interested in learning to play the sport of soccer. As a child I played soccer for a long time and loved it, I am hoping to foster that same love in my students by teaching it to them. It helped me foster relationships and gain mentors and friends. I am hoping that teaching it to my students they will get some of these same benefits. We need a pump to be able to inflate the balls before, after and during our unit on soccer. I hope that by teaching soccer my students will try out for a team, or go to a local soccer game.
