  • Game-Based Learning With a Steam Deck

    Funded Nov 16, 2023

I am writing to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of a Steam Deck to our classroom. Your contribution is not just a gift of technology; it's an investment in the future of our students, opening new doors for learning and engagement that were previously unimaginable.

For many of our students, technology serves as a gateway to new ways of thinking and learning. The Steam Deck, in particular, has revolutionized the way we approach education in our classroom. It has enabled us to integrate game-based learning that caters to a variety of learning styles and preferences, making education more accessible and enjoyable for all students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Ahmed

  • Beyond The Controller: Video Game Literature

    Funded Oct 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom! Due to your generosity, my students were able to have resources in our classroom to help support their game development endeavors.

With the help of these books, my students will be exposed to different types of indie and non-violent video games that can help inspire their own video games that they design. Video games are one of the biggest forms of entertainment and they can be a great and engaging learning tool for students. With your help, we are paving the way for video game education in the classroom!”

  • (Mine)Crafting A Better Future Through Classroom Decorations

    Funded Sep 10, 2023

Thank you so much again for your donation to provide Minecraft-themed decorations and supplies for my classroom! Due to your generosity, we were able to make my new classroom into a more welcoming, affirming environment for my students.

My students had a great time setting up the decorations too! They were amazed to see all the goodies that arrived in our classroom. Setting up and decorating my classroom every year with my students is always a great bonding activity and it lets them put their own unique flair in the room.

My next steps for my students and I is to help keep expanding the use of Minecraft Education to the rest of our school district. With your help, this was all possible!”

  • (Mine)Crafting A Better Future With LEGO Sets

    Funded Dec 27, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations in order to provide my afterschool Minecraft Club with these Minecraft LEGO sets! My students absolutely love them and were really excited when they found out. Today, we spent our club time working on building the LEGO sets. LEGO is a great way to help students hone their teamwork skills, social skills, communication capabilities, and problem-solving skills. It was great to see my students working together to create these LEGO sets. With your help, we were able to expand game-based learning in my classroom. Thank you again!”

  • (Mine)Crafting A Better Future Through Esports Books

    Funded Dec 21, 2022

Thank you so much for your help in providing books for my Minecraft Club students! With your donations, my students were able to find inspiration to help support their designs to make our city more equitable and safe in a Minecraft build. They were very excited to get their hands on these books and read through them! These books help teach my students learn how to build complex looking structures in Minecraft and it really shows how things can be done one step at a time. One of my students was very obsessed with the dolphin fountain design in one of the books!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Ahmed

  • From STEM to STEAM: Chemistry & Clay

    Funded Sep 2, 2022

Thank you so much for your help in providing model clay for my chemistry students! With your donations, we were able to turn STEM into STEAM and my students were able to successfully build a 3D structure of an atom using these materials. They were very excited for the hands-on learning that came with using the model clay. By building a 3D structure of an atom in real life, my students now better understanding the subatomic particles involved in atomic theory. We hope to continue with more fun, engaging projects like these.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Ahmed
