First through fifth grade students all spend time in the science lab for hands-on activities, demonstrations, and discussions. It is one of the most active classrooms and a student favorite. My school is located in Danville, California, part of a large contiguous suburban area. There is a very capable student body that, like all young children, demonstrates innate curiosity. I am here to guide and direct the curiosity and teach the process that is science.
